A purpose-built enterprise centre providing flexible office space and improved site access to support SME growth in Ashford.

The opportunity

The project involved delivering a new enterprise centre in Ashford to provide high-quality, flexible workspace for local businesses. The scheme comprised 73 office spaces with communal facilities, designed to support SME growth in the region. It also included the construction of a new access road for a separate development partner, forming the main entry point to the site. A two-storey steel-frame structure was delivered, with the fit-out completed alongside an external design consultant.

The challenge

A key challenge involved designing and constructing the new access road to meet the requirements of a separate development partner. This had to be achieved while managing poor ground conditions and maintaining access for ongoing site operations. Careful planning and coordinated engineering solutions were required to deliver a functional and durable route.

The outcome

The completed Enterprise Centre provides 73 flexible office spaces with short-term lease options, supporting SME growth and business start-up in Ashford. The development now acts as a hub for local enterprise, helping to drive economic activity and attract new investment to the area.
