Internal refurbishment of an existing 56,000ft² office building, together with the over-cladding of the existing façade, a new-build rear extension and hard landscaping.
Once the internal strip out works had been undertaken it became evident that various areas of the existing structure were in relatively poor condition and required extensive remedial works which were not originally programmed.
The additional remedial works were accommodated within the contractor’s programme by revisiting the sequence of works and removing the affected areas from the critical path. The development was completed on time and was subsequently occupied by Enfield Council.
