TPI Get Social

We know there is a whole world of networking out there, you can do anything from conferences to dinners to clay pigeon shooting. It is an eclectic market, but an absolute necessity in our industry (particularly for B2B organisations). This is something we are aiming to instil in our workforce, both juniors and seniors alike, that the world of business development cannot be ignored and instead should be embraced, wholeheartedly with a smile and a business card (or LinkedIn QR Code).

The best way to learn is to do. So, we have started hosting more of our own events.

This year at UKREiiF we co-hosted our Property Social with Envision at The Printworks in Leeds. Steeped in printing press history, it was a great backdrop for our industry networking event. We had a great turn out of new and familiar faces, all in Leeds to attend the notable construction conference. Our event allowed for a brief respite after an intense first day of talks and seminars at UKREiiF. Thanks to Envision who really drove the charge on the event and helped create this successful sundowner. Nothing says networking like collaboration.

As well as this more traditional event, 2025 marks the starting point for our own networking initiative TPI Social Club, the brainchild of project manager Danny Waters. His dream was to create a relaxed, informal networking group for early-career professionals (no matter their age). He recognised that networking can be daunting, but it is vital to hone your social skills and build your network early in your career. So, on March 27th at SAMA Bankside this dream was made a reality, and with support from the wider social club team, TPI Social club was launched. The first event went off with a bang with socialising, pizza, beer-pong and a raffle. The community is building solidly, and plans are already in the works for the next event.

It is fair to say, that this year we have really found the joy in hosting our own networking events. We are proud of all our employees hard work both in planning, hosting and attending the myriad of events this year. We look forward to seeing what the rest of the year and TPI Social Club brings!
