A striking new leisure scheme that consists of a new six screen Vue Cinema and restaurants, and is part of the regeneration of the High Street.

The opportunity

The new leisure destination on Eltham High Street is a landmark for the town centre. The cinema, which accommodates 731 standard seats and 126 VIP seats, is complemented by Pizza Express and Nando’s restaurants. The development features a ‘Sky Bar’ with an external seating terrace that wraps around the cinema, projecting animation onto the High Street and complementing the active street-level restaurant below.

The challenge

This was the first project of its kind for the Borough team, which lead to several design and construction changes, and additional cost once the leasehold operators had been secured.

The outcome

As a result of a proactive approach to managing this project, we achieved excellent engagement from the Borough, their design team and contractor. We were able to negotiate a fixed price contract with the contractor. The complex opened on programme in Easter 2019.

“Total Project Integration have done an excellent job of managing multiple client interfaces from within the Borough. Their diligence, attention to detail and ‘can do’ attitude has significantly contributed to the collaborative nature of the project team.”
